As someone who cared, and who made a difference. With happiness; I will not have tears.

What is the most important lesson life has taught you?

Humans do not give ourselves enough credit sometimes. We fear so much, yet when thrust into unfamiliar and frightening territory, we are able to turn powerful distress into strength, and we metamorphose into versions of ourselves we didn't know existed. How we respond to difficulty is what forms the basis of our character, and defines the quality of our future. One can choose to be frozen by the infinite misery that cancer brings, or select the other option: to feel the misery, even bathe in it for a little while. Then get yourself out, and carry on living anyway.

Dispelling the misconceptions of bone marrow transplantation.

From the sublime to the ridiculous.
