The 3rd & 4th; No gym trip.

The 3rd & 4th; No gym trip.

The 3rd of December.  I think it is time to go back to the gym. My life of kittens and Netflix is growing tiresome and I don't think I'll cough to death. The mornings are still bad, loads of phlegm, but I improve as the day goes on. I won't over-exert myself but I need to give it a go.

I was thinking about trying to get a ticket to Adele this morning, but when I woke up, I looked at the website and there were over 12,000 people in the queue. I was suddenly less bothered. Besides, it would probably be ruined by other people a) singing along or b) crying.

Apart from a blog post, it has been another day of much the same - crochet, Netflix, kitty. I got a text from Mrs. Porter, inviting Mommy and it to a seasonal tea on Monday. Obviously said yes, sounds like such fun.

I had to call handpicked collection again because they took money they shouldn't have taken, and to get it refunded, I've had to take a screengrab of my bank statement and email it to their customer services department. If I don't hear back from them by the weekend I'll be calling again.

The 4th of December.

Yesterday, when I said I wanted to go back to the gym, I don't think I'd quite thought it through. Just because I'm not coughing constantly anymore, it doesn't mean my lungs are up to actual exercise. Just climbing the stairs leaves me needing recovery time, so trying to go and do squats and chest presses etc I think would be somewhat unrealistic.

So no gym trip. This morning, I put together a blog post about the Kylie Jenner in a wheelchair issue, and tried to keep my heart rate at a reasonable level while I did so. I also had another chat with someone at handpicked collection because they seem to be incapable of just dealing with a problem. I'm assured that the refund has gone through, but I'll be keeping an eye on my bank account to make sure. I certainly won't be buying anything through them again.

I did have a venture out, despite not going to the gym. Just to Homebase, so we could purchase the Christmas tree! It won't be going up anytime soon, but it seems that we need to buy it earlier every year to ensure we get a decent one. We used to wait until we'd broken up from school! We still won't put it up until about the 18th, which I'm sure will arrive before we know it. I think I've got all my presents now, but I don't want to wrap them yet. I like to watch The Polar Express while I do, and it feels too early for that.

This afternoon, we caught up with The Bridge. I am really not a fan of Linn or Saga's mother and would be very pleased if Hans could wake up from his coma soon.
