The 7th of March. Well, I had a fun lunchtime.

I actually had some sleep, and had a fairly quiet morning with my coffee and watching TV, nearly getting emotional at a story on This Morning about an autistic boy who is in an unsuitable place seemingly indefinitely and it's insane. I can't imagine how that must be for his family. I know I've been in a place I couldn't leave and was practically climbing the walls, but it was necessary and I wasn't completely isolated. At least other people could come in.

I had a quick lunch date with a guy I met online. I won't say much apart from that we had fun, and I think I'll see him again. However, it was only brief, he had loads of work to do, so we parted company at 2 and I got a taxi home.

Since then, I have had my Agents Carter/of S.H.I.E.L.D afternoon which is always fun. I love Peggy. I need to do some more crocheting, I think I've had a long enough break. I got a thank you note from Celia who runs Project Linus who I did the blanket for, and she's hoping I'll do some more so I better get some more baby wool!

The 8th of March.

Eee Monica the kitty is so pretty and friendly I love her already.

I didn't want to get up when my alarm went off, I so easily could have stayed in bed, but I resisted the urge. I spent my morning writing up a blog post and being freezing cold. Always cold, I hate it. More layers required.

After lunch, Mommy took Grandma to a church thing, then we went to Princess Alice for various bits. M&S for a parcel that they haven't actually got in yet, Boots for facewipes and more Strepsils, then Tesco for Easter eggs for me, Christine, Becky, James, Jamie and Jonathan. And I got some Jelly Bunnies because I just can't help myself.

Once we were back, I was just waiting for Shaki to arrive with Monica. She arrived at about ten past five with a kitty hiding under a blanket in the carrier and lots of toys. However, it didn't take her long to come out, and soon she was wanting to be stroked and lying on her back for belly rubs. She is tortoiseshell and white and ever so playful; I can already tell we will be great pals. Her tremors are down to a brain condition, so she isn't good at walking backwards or jumping, and when she concentrates her head shakes. Bless her.
