The 8th & 9th; Rufus is friendly and soft and gorgeous.

 The 8th of September.

Heads up, this is not going to be an interesting read. This morning, I got up, pretending like I might go to the gym, but in all honesty I don't think that was ever going to happen. I received an email from LoveKnitting saying my first parcel was on its way, so I thought that was a good excuse to get dressed in a comfy jumper and do the crochet. However, when the Hermes man arrived, he had brought only the hook I had ordered and not the wool! So I don't know where that is; I've sent them an Enel enquiring as to its location. But it's Saturday so no reply.

So I wasn't going to be making a jumper today, but I didn't feel like getting changed again, so I had to find myself something to do. Then I realised that my WordPress renewal is coming up, and I wanted to move to SquareSpace. I had planned on doing it later this week, but why not get a jump on it early?

On that note, it's been a very boring afternoon. Exporting all the content, then importing it, choosing a template, changing the way it looks. It has not been fun. I think I'm getting there? Still got more to do.

The 9th of September.

New kitty!

Slightly more interesting day. This morning, we gave my hair another wash up see if any more light bits appeared, but to no avail. Then I spent the rest of it in front of the computer, finishing  the blog migration, and got annoyed with SquareSpace because I did the domain transfer first, and because I paid for that, I couldn't use a discount code on the hosting plan subscription. They seemed to want to help on Twitter, but I have sent them a message using the form but they have yet to reply. But, on the plus side, it is all done, the domain is transferring, so I think it's all fine!

This afternoon, we went to Amanda's to take her some Cats Protection money, because she couldn't come here as she's broken get foot. We didn't stay long, but we got to see Hugo and Harvey who are huge beasts now! They were not interested in being petted though.

That didn't matter, because shortly after getting home, Shaki brought us new Rufus! We had a Rufus last year, but he was a very timid kitten. This Rufus is friendly and soft and gorgeous. He loves pets.
