The 28th & 1st; Marginally better.

 The 28th of February.

Oh man, I am so tired, and my bum really hurts.

I was up at six, because I had lung function tests at 8.15. I had booked a taxi for 7.30, but they rang at 7 and asked if they could come early, so we got our shoes on sharpish and dashed out of the door.

I was early, so got a mocha from Starbucks (safer than the taste of one of their terrible flat whites) before going to wait in the lung function and sleep area. I had the same lady as last time, and off we went to the room with the box in. I had no pillow to sit on, hence the pain in my butt. My bones pressing into what little flesh sits between them and the seat has resulted in actual bruising nine hours later. I was shit at the tests today - I had to do them all at least one more time than normal, and I had to  do one of them seven times. By the last couple, I was almost ready to cry because I was so tired. I managed to get through them, then I just had to see Dr. Thompson. My results were marginally better than last time, but I think that is more down to regaining some of my stomach muscles rather than my lungs doing anything. I'm at 21% function now, which is actually not as bad as I expected. I did ask him how much more I can afford to lose before I need more full-time support, but he couldn't really tell me because it depends more on how I feel as opposed to anything measurable. So we'll see.

This afternoon, I have finished the schnauzer! It took a good four hours, but he's done, and I'm really quite pleased with him. Just have to finish the rest of the jumper now.

The 1st of March.

Still incredibly tired. I had a really shit night's sleep, so coupled with my exhausting day yesterday, I feel like garbage.

Thankfully, I have not had a taxing day. I finished off the front of the schnauzer jumper, then I started on the first sleeve. I watched a couple more episodes of The Walking Dead - met the Scavengers. They seem like pricks.

Christine has come home for the weekend because it was Mommy's birthday. She brought us some tests from Dominique Ansel Bakery, so Mommy has a cronut, and I have a delicious pain au chocolat to eat for breakfast tomorrow!

Becky very kindly then brought Harry round again so Christine could meet him. He was very cosy and sleepy so she just got nice cuddles for three quarters of an hour and a tired arm.

I want to go to bed.
