The 30th of May. Oh fuck, my lips itch like crazy. I'm assuming it means they're healing but it's massively annoying. Ann-Marie came this morning to flush my line but didn't bring a sharps bin because they have none. Ours is alarmingly full so hopefully their order will have come in by next Friday.
Becky came round this afternoon for us to go through the reports she'd sent us, then ended up staying for a little bit watching tv and just taking a break. She has to write so much for each kid and it is really not something you think about when you're the one receiving them.
The rest of the afternoon was spent waiting to see if Daddy would get home in time for us to go and see X-Men but he was not, so that will have to wait for another day.
I have avoided the news today.
The 31st of May.
Aw today has been lovely. This morning I had a hairwash and read the paper then went out to meet Fiona and Amelia for lunch at Yorks.
It was so good to see them! I haven't properly hung out with Amelia for maybe ten years, and the last time I saw Fiona was for coffee maybe two/three years ago? And now Fiona's having a baby and Amelia's finishing uni this year after her year in France. We just caught up and reminisced, and they're both going to try and come to the Old Hallfieldian dinner. It was a delight to see them and we will definitely get together again soon.
Then Daddy came to pick me up and went to see X-Men which was super good and I enjoyed it muchly. We came back to veal burgers in brioche buns and Britain's Got Talent. Such fun!
