The 9th & 10th; I feel slightly human today?

The 9th of January.  I feel slightly human today? A reasonable sleep, so I woke up at about quarter past nine, and I actually felt up to having Mommy wash my hair, so that has made me feel much better. Having gross hair really does not make one feel great. 

Grandma came over for lunch today as it's her birthday but before and after that, all I have done is work on my crochet bunny. He's nearly finished now - just one ear left to do! I'm pretty impressed with myself, I have to say. 

So yes, it has not been a vastly interesting day, just messing about with wool but the results are very pleasing. I am hoping to maybe come down to 1.5 litres of oxygen over this weekend. 

The 10th of January. 

Definitely a bit better today. I think we'll have a slight improvement every day or two. I hope so - I hate being imprisoned in my own home by my need for oxygen. Even when I take it off briefly to change my top, I am left struggling and it's still quite frightening. We're trying to get some smaller cylinders to take out with us but it's such a convoluted process, I'll probably be fine by the time it's all approved. 

This morning I read the paper and watched Saturday Kitchen, before having a look at this Crochet magazine that Mommy had picked up at Tesco which included a free gift of a kit to make two heart brooches. I followed the instructions but I didn't have enough wool to even make a whole one. I then read the rest of the magazine and discovered where I've been going wrong - what I think of as double crochet is actually the American version, so when I've read British patterns referring to double crochet, they actually mean what I think of as single crochet. So that's that mystery solved!

Becky came round with James and Loans briefly - she needs my measurements for the bridesmaid dresses so we'll do that tonight.
