The 8th of March. Sunday Brunch morning. I got my own clothes out and opened my curtains which are two more things I'm starting to do for myself again. This afternoon, I have made two bear legs and written up a blog post. I also phoned up Fitness First in Mere Green to organise my complimentary gym session, so I'm going there tomorrow. I really miss going to the gym, and I need to start working out to get my muscles back to a place where I can be walking around Lyme Regis in the May and Falmouth in the July. Plus it just makes me feel good. To avoid germs as much as possible, I'll just be using the changing room to put stuff in the locker but no showering, I'll do that at home, and I'll be carrying hand sanitiser around to use after each machine. I'm taking every precaution.

The 9th of March.

Phew! Tired. I got up at quarter to nine to get ready for my gym session at eleven. Mommy dropped me off and at first I tried to go in the back door, but then I walked round the corner to where the actual entrance was. Then I had the challenge of climbing two flights of stairs to the gym itself, and while I was fine getting my breath back, a lady stopped to make sure I was okay, bless her. Apparently I was very pale but I assured her that was always the case.

I got up there and met Tom who I spoke to yesterday, and he showed me round the gym, asked me to sign a form and let me get on with it! In all I was really pleased - I got to do everything I wanted and it all seemed clean and nice. Once I get some more of my core strength back, I can go back to the free weights area. By the time I'd finished, Tom had gone to teach a class so we couldn't talk about membership, but he will apparently ring me. I was also told about the lift so they let me go down in that and when I go back, I just need to ring and someone will come and let me in.

Mommy picked me up and we came home and had lunch. Then for the rest of the afternoon, I watched Dexter on Netflix and crocheted. I've nearly finished Mandy's bear, just got to make the tail and see him up! Becky came round for a cup of tea, and that has been it really!

The 10th & the 11th; I have literally lost count of the amount of people I have lost.
