The 14th of March. Right, I've got my days and dates back in order.

This morning, I fixed the blog posts so they were correct, and wrote up yesterday. I think on Thursday I got involved with helping Mommy set up her phone and forgot to write anything. Nevermind!

Today was my trip to the gym for my induction. I met with Karen, the ex-weightlifter, and she's quite extraordinary. Covered in tattoos, including her eyebrows, black braids, red lipstick and pink nails. We talked about my issues, and we did an analysis of my body composition using the BodiTrax system. That was really interesting - my metabolic age is 27, which surprised me, and I'm "under-exercised", which didn't. I have very little visceral fat, which is good, and I will benefit from gaining some muscle.

She had come up with a circuit for me, so we went round with me doing a set of 12 on each machine, then I went round again by myself. I'll see her again next Wednesday, and go back in between. I'm excited to get stronger again.

This afternoon, I've been making the second sock, and have just run out of wool. Turns out that if your feet aren't tiny, you need more than one ball of wool in the main colour. Bah.

The 15th of March.

My arms hurt today. They did not enjoy the bicep curls I did yesterday. My head hurts too, but that's because I hit it on the edge of the worktop last night when I was getting cookies out of a cupboard.

My day has been rather crochet-based. This morning, while Mommy was out, I watched How to Get Away with Murder and The Blacklist, neither of which were as stressful as usual, and worked on the jumper I have started. I've never made one before and I'm coming to realise it is going to take quite a while.

After lunch, I went to watch Annihilation on the big tv, without my crochet. I saw the trailer last year so have been waiting for it for ages, and haven't had time to sit and watch it since it arrived on Netflix. David Ellison is an asshole - it should've gone into cinemas. There's no need to make Natalie Portman's character "more likable" or dumb it down. It's not difficult to understand. Anyway. I liked it - part sci-fi thriller, part beautiful art installation. My favourites were the tree people.
