The 20th & 21st; I want pastry so much.
The 20th of October.
Today has been a nice day. This morning, I got up off the floor using nearly only my thigh muscles - I had to push off the bin a tiny bit. I wrote up a blog post (I don't think the MailChimp is working; need to look into that), then I did a couple of rounds of crochet.
Sadie came round for lunch/the afternoon. Originally, we were going to have all the cheesy pizza and other delicious foods, but considering my need for a low-fat diet, we ended up having pretzels and a variety of proteins - smoked salmon, trout, crab and chicken. Then we had a rest, and we watched a terrible film where The Rock went to a mysterious island. We also tried out some "high protein" ice cream (all ice cream is high protein) and the cinnamon roll one was good. We had lots of chats, but she did eventually have to go home to work on her PhD bibliography.
For the rest of the afternoon, I have continued crocheting, and started on season seven of House. I don't think I have enough wool to finish and of course it's now out of stock on my usual website so I've tried Amazon. Let's hope I am not disappointed.
The 21st of October.
I am tired but I have had a productive day.
And yes, by that I mean crochet. This morning, I enjoyed watching Tom on Sunday Brunch - to think back to him performing in our dining room. I am so proud of him.
My tv watching this afternoon was of House and Bake Off. I want pastry so much. On Thursday I will ask Sara how long I have to stay on the low-fat diet for.
During all the tv, I have been going back and forth doing the rounds of the body of the jumper to get it to twelve inches, which I have finally achieved! I'm on the last ball of wool now, so I'm glad I've ordered some more. I'm just going to be irritated while I have to wait for it to arrive because it's going to be about a week. I need to decide what I'm going to make people for Christmas.
Oh and I looked at my MailChimp, and it was paused. No wonder emails weren't happening.
