Documenting not dying since October 2013.

The 10th & 11th; I do not feel great.

The 10th & 11th; I do not feel great.

 The 10th of March.

Well, I have been awake since half past four, so I do not feel great. Couldn't stop coughing, then I ran out of water, and by half past eight my stomach was rumbling and I thought I'd better get up.

It was the sort of day that called for my twosie, so I put that on and had porridge for breakfast. I typed up a blog post, then I did a bit of knitting, but only up to the start of the dog. That will require actual brain power, which is not something I have much of today. I checked my heart rate, which was around 120 at rest, and that's a bit high for me. The stuff I'm bringing up is still yellowish, so we've decided to try to get a GP appointment tomorrow for some antibiotics. I don't do this lightly - I obviously have an infection, and I need to deal with it.

After lunch, I went back upstairs to put on Gardener's Question Time and try to have a nap. I think I managed a few z's here and there, and I did feel somewhat restored afterwards. More sleep tonight please; I feel like shit.

The 11th of March.

Ughhh, so much coughing. My back and neck are getting absolutely wrecked.

I did at least have a better sleep last night. Very broken, but I did keep going back to sleep which is key. I have to start doing the sleep diary again tomorrow which is not fucking ideal but I don't think I can postpone the study again because they won't be able to reschedule it before I see Dr. Madathil next month.

Most of my day has been spent knitting the French Bulldog on my jumper. It's obvious I'm not at my best, as I've made multiple mistakes, so I've had to un-knit parts several times but thankfully I don't think anyone'll be able to tell.

I did have a break this afternoon, because we went to the GP so I could get some antibiotics. I sat in the corridor, so I didn't bother patients in the waiting room with my germs, then when it was my turn, I went through to see a locum. He was a sensible chap - he looked at some phlegm I'd taken in a sputum bottle, listened to my chest, and agreed that I did require some co-amoxiclav. I do hope it helps.
