The 18th & 19th; Nothing else helps.
The 18th of March.
Well, last night was fucking terrible. The Zopiclone on Saturday night must have helped, because I didn't have any last night and I couldn't suppress the cough at all in any of my normal sleeping positions. I eventually ended up falling asleep on top of my blanket with my dressing gown over me, curled up on my front around a pillow. I woke up at about half two in that position, and couldn't go back to sleep there because it was hurting my back, so then I got back into bed, moved my pillows and got on my front again. I went back to sleep, but I feel like shit today.
This morning I did a blog post, and pinned out the sleeves of my jumper. Mommy had ironed the front and back, so I tidied up the ends behind the dog, and this afternoon she pressed the sleeves so I could start to assemble the whole thing. It's taken longer than normal because I have to keep stopping to cough. I haven't got on the floor yet today, but I'm heading that way.
I have postponed the sleep study.
The 19th of March.
I am back on the floor. Last night I had a better sleep, because I had Zopiclone and thank god it actually worked. I think I'm going to have to keep taking it until the death rattle stage is over, because nothing else helps. Today I even resorted to trying Bronchostop in all its disgustingness and that did fuck all. Hence my return to the floor.
This morning I was at the chiro, so Trine crunched all the bones that I've dislodged by coughing. Neck, shoulders, shoulder blades, all over my back. Everything is a mess. I'm realigned for now, but if I keep coughing like this, it won't last long.
I spent the afternoon printing out the pattern for the sausage dog jumper, then writing it out. I've ordered some wool, so tomorrow I can start that. I want to do the sausage dog, the westie and the beagle. I will have all the dog jumpers! Eventually. I would like to be able to knit again without getting sweaty from coughing. It's no fun.
