The 2nd & 3rd; A visit from one of my favourite boys.
The 2nd of March.
I am slightly less knackered tonight. Small coffee about 3pm picked me up. I was still really tired this morning, for no discernible reason as far as I could tell. The lung function tests weren't that bad.
I had my pain au chocolat for breakfast which was massive and delicious, then wrote up a blog post. Mommy and Christine went to do a food shop, so I put an episode of The Walking Dead on and got back to work on the sleeve of my jumper.
After lunch, that continued, and I watched a few things that were sitting on the TiVo box - an episode of The Passage and two of The Gifted. The Fox channel is perilous for our hard disk capacity. I've completed the sleeve now, then took a break to eat dinner and pin out the front of the jumper. I love doing these; I just want the mid-brown colour to come back in stock so I can make the beagle and the sausage dog!
The 3rd of March.
It has been a lovely Sunday.
I had a better night, so I think I might be back to feeling normal, which was a good start. Just after eleven, I had a visit from one of my favourite boys, Dan Alani! He had come home to see the fam, but his parents went to a wedding today so he could come to see me. I gave him the current general medical overview, plus what's going on in the Cartwright household, and he told me about all the people he's been filming of late - Boyzone, Sheridan Smith, Cliff Richard, Michael Ball...all the people! He's a busy boy. He stayed for like two and a half hours, until it was time for me to eat the venison that Christine and Mommy had been making, and he set off back up the road to home.
After the very tasty venison, I started knitting again, and we watched the Child Genius semi-final, during which Christine left to return to London. Then Mommy and I watched last week's Baptiste (Daddy came home during the transmission so we recorded it) and Friday's Last Leg. I'm going to try to finish this sleeve tonight, so I can start making it up.
