The 30th & 31st; Probably getting better.

 The 30th of March.

Just the one Strepsil required last night. Not ideal but acceptable.

Today, I will warn you now, has not been of great interest. This morning, I wrote up a blog post, then I spent ages trying to put the Westie pattern into an Excel spreadsheet. For some reason, my brain was just not working, and I did not find it as easy as the sausage dog, despite it being mainly one colour.

After lunch, I translated the graph pattern into words, then I wrapped Mommy's present for tomorrow while she was out. After that, I watched a film called Zombieland which was pretty bad, but entertaining, and Thor: Ragnarok. I had forgotten how much fun that one is. God of Thunder!

I think I am coughing a tiny bit less today? It's so hard to tell. I really want to be able to go and see Captain Marvel next week.

The 31st of March.

I am going to cautiously say that I think the cough is probably getting better. I think the phlegm is definitely looser - I am not having to work as hard to move it.

First thing, obviously, I gave Mommy her Mother's Day card and present. A very witty (and true) card about how she will be caring for me into my forties, and some gin and tonic themed Biscuiteers biscuits. I will have to force her to eat them because she is reluctant to ruin the prettiness.

She went off to Grandma's because she was potentially coming here for lunch, but it was decided that as I'm still coughing and she wasn't feeling great anyway, it wasn't wise for that to happen.

This afternoon, we watched Glow Up and Brave while I knitted and she cross-stitched. Christine phoned for the requisite Mother's Day chat, and we got to hear her review of the Tom Hiddleston play. Much better than his new advert.

It's Line of Duty day! I am so excited.
