The 25th & 26th; I cried multiple times.

The 25th of April.

Oh man, it has been a day of many emotions. Well, an afternoon, really. This morning, after a better sleep, I wrote up a blog post, then didn't have time to get much done before it was time for Daddy and I to go out to see Endgame. We both took packed lunches, because we went for a 12:15 screening. I had a theory that there might be less children then because they'd be being fed, but that didn't matter in the end; it was still super busy. I'm glad I booked our seats a few days ago, because if I'd waited until this morning we might have had a problem. We settled into our VIP seats (got to take care of our bad backs), and I was careful to ration my water because I did not want to have to pee.

I'm not going to talk about what happened but I cried multiple times and we all cheered and clapped and someone sneezed at what should have been a very poignant moment. I have never been so stressed and confused and emotional at the same time. A youth in front of me decided to film parts of the ending so as we left I told him that is not acceptable. I refrained from actually reporting him but I hope he was ashamed.

I need people to see it so I can have excited chats.

The 26th of April.

Today has not gone entirely as expected. It started with a text this morning from a chap I contacted yesterday about coming to see Falcon. He wanted to come this afternoon, which was okay, I just needed to talk to Hayley from Anthony Nolan about moving our phone call around that. Handily for me, her phone was misbehaving, so she actually was going to ask me if we could reschedule anyway!

I was sorting out the paperwork for Falcon, and found out from his vaccination card that he was due his second jabs pretty much now. It hadn't been an issue because he was meant to go to the adoption centre, but then things changed and we hadn't thought about them. We were very lucky to find that Lydon's could fit him in at half past three.

Steve and his son Niall came just after two and had met him for about five minutes when they decided they wanted him. He was his usual friendly self, going for fusses with both of them and he didn't do any farts! We agreed that they'd come back on Sunday, and I think he'll be very happy.

He was not thrilled about going to the vet; he did a protest poo on the floor. Trying to get him back into the carrier was not easy! He forgave us though - when we got home, I went to sit with him and we watched Luke Perry's last appearance on Riverdale. It wasn't an ending, so I don't know how they're going to write his departure in. Archie is going to be having a shitty time.
