The 7th & 8th; Totally worth it.
The 7th of May.
Normal service has resumed.
I am very tired. Oh, so tired and my neck/shoulder/back is a disaster zone but too painful to get Trine to do anything. Ice packs and rest for now.
I spent most of my morning doing a blog post about Mach, then I picked up a cat blanket I started knitting in the car. I thought it would be a good way to pass the time while driving but it is much harder to do while moving. I'll stick to crochet on future journeys.
This afternoon, I texted Shaki for an update on our next set of kittens (not getting them until the weekend), started the new season of iZombie, and watched another episode of the Morgan Freeman programme, this time about god/s on Earth. I had to have a second coffee because I was so sleepy (but unable to nap), and I plan on sleeping in a bit tomorrow, because I'm seeing Suzi at the Glee in the evening.
Regardless of the pain and the exhaustion, the weekend was totally worth it.
The 8th of May.
Feeling somewhat less knackered and sore today. I was rather cold this morning, but that was remedied by putting on a jumper instead of the shirt and cardigan I had on.
Another day in which I haven't got much done. I did a little bit of knitting this morning, had a big lunch of meatballs and pasta because I'm out tonight, then for most of the afternoon, Becky and Harry were here. He mainly wanted to sleep today, so I got a couple of cuddles but it was primarily grumbles and sleep. That meant we actually got to talk! Heard about how the three day old car got hit by a Range Rover while Becky and Harry were in it (they're fine) and there are issues getting a Skoda-approved garage to fix it, and I gave Becky a practise child's jumper that I knitted. Not really sure on what size it is but he's growing so fast (he's only eleven weeks old but has been in 3-6 month clothes for a while now) it'll probably got him soon. Ginormous East genes.
Got my postal vote for the EU elections today. Got to try to decide who is the best choice to stop the racists getting in.
