The 16th & 17th; I can't see the goddamn lens.
The 16th of June.
I feel like I have done nothing today.
This morning, I started writing up a blog post, then went upstairs to wash my hair. I ended up staying up there for ages because I needed to take some pictures of my scars and face in natural light for this photography project that I'm applying for (to be a subject, not doing the photography). Somehow, that took forever, and I took about 3000 of my face because I can't see the goddamn lens so I kept looking cross-eyed.
This afternoon, I finished the blogpost, and have been trying to work out how to do the neckline of this Moomin jumper. It just doesn't make sense and if I can't get a handle on it I might have to contact the writer and ask if they can provide me with a graph. I'm going to do some practising and we'll just have to see how it goes.
No cats for a little while. They are all sick or pissing on the floor. No thank you.
The 17th of June.
This is going to be another rather boring entry.
I had a stressful start to the day, because Mommy had tidied up the table in the living room which had some cat paperwork on it. I decided to get all the outstanding adoptions logged online, only to find that one of the forms and the money for a cat is missing. It was definitely all three yesterday, but now it's not. She says she didn't get rid of anything, but I don't see how else it could have disappeared. Anyway, we don't have the information and we're still missing £70. So I felt guilty and terrible because it's my responsibility and I should have sorted it earlier because then we wouldn't have this problem.
I felt upset until I went upstairs to do my core exercises and the podcast I was listening to made me laugh, then I found a book of photos of a pug dressed up in all different outfits and making funny faces, so then I felt better.
For the rest of the afternoon, I have tried to make sense of the neckline pattern. What I thought I'd worked out yesterday didn't work, so I rejigged it and I think it will work now, so I ordered some wool. I have messaged the writer of the pattern to see if they have a definitive answer though. This Moomin jumper is already causing me a headache and I haven't even started it yet but I have wanted to make it for so long, I can't just give up.
