The 21st & 22nd; I want to do things again!
The 21st of April. Ack. I didn't have a great start to my day, because I had a rather vivid dream that I was being murdered. I think I need to stop listening to murder podcasts before I go to sleep. Will pick something cheerier tonight.
Mommy and I had planned on going to the Spring Seasonal Cheese Market in Digbeth today, but as soon as she got up, her hayley kicked off and the antihistamine hasn't done any good - her head has been really stuffy, so we decided against that. Then the rain this afternoon came early so I think we did the right thing.
Instead, I have continued with the jumper. I'm nearly at the end of the body now; next will be sleeves. Watched The Blacklist, started Marvel's Runaways, then both parts of The Ersatz Elevator. Sunny in her tiny pinstripe suit is my absolute favourite.
The 22nd of April.
My brain is an idiot. I woke up just before six for no reason, and I couldn't go back to sleep. Normally I can put the radio on and drop back off, but not today. I tried for about an hour, then I put on an All Killa No Filla and took my time in getting up.
I got downstairs just as the London Marathon programme started, and I spent a good half of my day in front of it, crocheting. The Sunday Brunch line up today was absolutely dire, so for the first time I watched the marathon in its entirety. One of my nurses, Paul, from BCH, was doing it for TCT, and a guy called Arron had promised Dean he would do it for him and Sarcoma UK, so I was tracking them both on the app.
Becky and James came over about two, on their way home for lunch, so we had a brief catch-up over family and life before they went on their way. I kept working until I saw Paul finish just after half two, then I went upstairs to try and get rid of some clothes from my wardrobe. I picked a bunch of cardigans and some jumpers from a drawer, but my back was being a bastard and I had to stop. I really hope the injections tomorrow work. I can't know immediately because of local anaesthetic but ooh I want to do things again!
After giving up on that, I came back down to make an iced coffee and watch The Vile Village. I will have the song in my head all evening.
