The 5th & 6th; I think I actually feel...alright?

 The 5th of April.

Oh god, my back is awful tonight. I am cold and I am tired and in pain. Even if I'm not coughing nearly as much, I'm clearly still not right.

I spent most of my morning writing up a fairly lengthy blog post, then wrapping myself in extra blankets and shawls because I was cold. Leggings not thick enough. I cannot deal with the constantly changing weather.

After lunch, I was going to watch the new Riverdale but it turned out it's on hiatus again, so I watched the first episode of the new season of Sabrina while finishing the Westie on my jumper, then the rest of the front. It's not my best work, and the inside of it is a bit messy, but I'm hoping I can tidy it up so the edges are a bit cleaner.

It's only half past six but oh I want to go to bed so badly.

The 6th of April.

Today is the first day in a long time that I think I actually feel...alright? I didn't have a great sleep - I woke up multiple times for no apparent reason. I fell back to sleep fairly quickly, so I wasn't too disturbed, but I would have preferred my night to be less broken.

I put my knitted penguin trousers and cashmere Moomin jumper on because I'm sick of being cold, and I wasn't going anywhere so nobody saw my ridiculous fashion choices. This morning I pinned out the front and back of my jumper, having to rest between each side because it hurt my back so much. My spine made an astonishingly loud cracking sound the other day, apropos of nothing. It does make me wonder what's going on in there. After the pinning, I was bothered by the edge of the chest of the Westie, so it decided to try and work out how my intarsia is going wrong. I did some reading, then a practise of a straight diagonal change, which has come out really well. I don't think it's technically correct, but I can't find much that's helpful on the internet.

After lunch, I started on the first sleeve of this jumper, and watched a couple more Sabrinas and another episode The Case Against Adnan Syed.

It's weird that it's still so light at six o'clock.
