The 1st & 2nd; Very productive!
The 1st of May.
Beagle assembled!
My day started early because my body decided it was time to go to the bathroom, then I couldn't go back to sleep. Not ideal, but it meant I could get started on things promptly.
I wrote up a blog post, then sorted out my purse. I had loads of heavy change, plus lots of old receipts and business cards. Got rid of all the extraneous gubbins, so it will be much lighter and easier to close. My hair needed washing, so we did that, then I got to work finishing the body of the beagle.
Just after eleven, I had a phone call from Hayley at Anthony Nolan to go over my story, which took about forty five minutes, plus another call after a planned interview with someone else at twelve. Got there in the end, and hopefully I'll be doing more stuff for them soon!
After lunch, I finished the beagle body, then went to sit with Falcon and watch a few episodes of Lucifer. Shaki's coming to pick him up tomorrow, and I have to get a video of him being friendly but all he ever does is sleep on my lap!
I left him about half four, and put the beagle together while watching Moominvalley. Very productive!
The 2nd of May.
Eeee my Mach excitement is building. I do hope I am able to sleep tonight.
This morning, I did a video of Falcon for Shaki, because he's going to a different fosterer tonight so I think we need Facebook material to get him adopted from within branch. No space at the Adoption Centre.
My copy of Don't Touch My Hair by Emma Dabiri arrived, so I can take that to Mach to read in the car, and I received two visors that I ordered in case it is bright and my usual sunhat is too unwieldy to cart around all weekend. Speaking of my eyes (sort of), I have a date for my right eye surgery! 25th of July, and pre-op in June.
This afternoon, I watched some more Lucifer with Falcon, then went upstairs to look at my clothes and try to decide which dog jumpers to take with me. I need to choose two out of the sausage dog, the westie and the frenchie. Who do I leave behind?
