The 6th & 7th; Let's just get to the end of the world.
The 6th of June.
Oh man my left eye has been so fucking irritating today: it's just been so angry, and I can barely see. Tomorrow I'm not going to put any pred in and see if it's calmer.
This morning, I did a blog post, then I had to do a refresher of the PetPlan course, so I know what I can and can't say to potential adopters. Utterly fascinating stuff, of course. I also read another chapter of my book, which was such a fucking effort because of my eye. Closing one eye doesn't work because the right one is pretty shit on its own.
After lunch, I watched Striking Vipers from the new season of Black Mirror. So bleak. I do kind of wish we had that technology. I could get out of my body. Goddamn Love Island making me all depressed because I will never be with anybody again.
Good.Omens episode four after that. Let's just get to the end of the world.
The 7th of June.
Well, the lack of pred hasn't helped - my left eye is just as angry again tonight. Thankfully, all of this will be prolonged by about a month less than it was going to, because I had a phone call from Mr. Kolli's secretary this morning. There has been a cancellation, so I am now having my right eye done on the 20th of June instead of the 25th of July! However, this does mean I'll be going about London in July with one eye that is long-sighted and one that is short-sighted. That will be fun. I then rang Piccadilly to see what could be done about my glasses post-surgery, and apparently I can just take my glasses in and they'll be able to put a clear lens in to use until I have my eye test once both eyes have healed.
This afternoon, I sat with Fabio, who was mainly well-behaved, and watched iZombie and Se7en. Daddy was quite shocked that I'd watched that, but I didn't find it that bad? Sure, it's quite gory, but I think I've been exposed to enough gross stuff on shows like iZombie and The Walking Dead that it was fine. Anywho, I thought it was very good, very clever, but I did get annoyed by Morgan Freeman when he kept turning around when he was meant to be driving during the car scene with Kevin Spacey at the end. Eyes on the road, Freeman!
