 The 9th of November.

I am very tired again, I think because I had to sleep without the oxygen on last night so my blood is not oxygen-rich today. That is my theory anyway.

It has been a day of much crochet. Finally got the back of the jumper to a length I am happy with, which is 110 rows. Then I had to add some more to shape the neckline/shoulders.

After lunch, I got started on the front of the jumper. I have to keep checking I've done the right number of stitches because on the back I kept dropping them somehow (thankfully you can't see where).

Tomorrow is going to be another day of loads of crochet, but not on my jumper, because my wool for Mommy's Christmas present arrived and she's going to be doing a viennoiserie course all day, so I will be grabbing the opportunity to start on that while she's not here. She nearly picked up the pile of post that had the receipt in and I had to yank it out of her hands like Gollum with the one ring.

The 10th of November.

Bleah. My brain decided to wake me up early this morning so I was downstairs by half past eight and fending for myself in the kitchen because Mommy had already gone out.

Making toast and coffee was pretty exhausting and painful (for my back), and after that I didn't move until lunchtime. I have watched much television, and worked on Mommy's Christmas present. Annoyingly, I have realised I have miscalculated how much wool I need in different colours so I'm going to have to send some of one colour back and buy some more of the other. What a nitwit I am.

For the afternoon, I started watching The Walking Dead. I got frustrated immediately, because Rick would not have been able to get out of bed and ride a bike if he'd been in a coma for weeks, and what were Shane and Laurie thinking having sex without contraception? This is not a world in which one ought to bring a child. I managed to let that go though, and I'm halfway through season one.

Mommy has brought home MANY baked goods! A plaited loaf and buns, croissants, pains au chocolat, a Danish pastry and loads of cinnamon buns! I have eaten a teeny weeny one.
