The 29th & 30th; Old One-Arm and Breathless.
The 29th of November.
Another morning trip today, another early start. Daddy took me to the QE so Sara could change my line dressing. When I got into the clinic, we decided she'd do some bloods too. However, the line did not want to go along with this and did not bleed, so she changed the dressing, and Sara said she'd talk to James and see what he wanted to happen. She rang me back this afternoon, and I'm going in on Monday morning to have the line taken out in Ambulatory Care.
Quick visit to John Lewis, so I could purchase some Kraft paper because the place I've ordered my other stuff from was out of stock. Also, I sent to Superdrug to look at semi-permanent hair dye. It's not the fault of Black Sheep - Daddy's first thought upon seeing my hair was that it looked patriotic, and that has burrowed into my head to the point that I'm worried that people are going to think I support the EDL or something. I stared at the colours for ages, eventually settling on two, but I might return them in favour of something else I've ordered online.
This afternoon: crochet. So close to finishing Daddy's present. I'm thinking I might take Mommy's to the QE with me on Monday.
The 30th of November.
Oh dear, I am most annoyed at myself because I am a nitwit. My wrapping stuff came, only for me to realise I forgot to order the tissue paper! Bah.
Daddy has been out all day, driving to Somerset and back with some sort of writing box that he wants to get fixed. So Mommy and I have been left to our own devices, old One-Arm and Breathless here. Still, we did not flounder - we needed some more cake in the house, so between us we baked some brownies from Liam Bakes, although they got a bit overdone so they are less fudgy, more cakey. Nevermind!
This afternoon, Mommy walked up to Grandma's because there was a residents and relatives meeting, so I got a bit more work done on her present. I think it's taking so long because I have to constantly change colour. However, since she got back, I have managed to finish Daddy's! I might leave my jumper and get on with the mice I wanted to make. Too many projects.
