The 26th & 27th; It just feels neverending.
The 26th of October.
My eyes are a tiny bit better today? I think I am going to have to have Dark Time every day this week because I see Mr. Kolli again on Friday and I really need more than anything for him to give me good news. I am really worried that because I've gone down on the steroid drops again that the inflammation is getting worse, and when I see him, he'll be like "Well, this has undone all the hard work of the past four months." The pressures might have gone down but will it be worth it? It just feels neverending.
So, guess what I have done today? Morning: blog post, bit of blanket knitting, brief hello to kittens. Received some lovely post in the form of my rewards for supporting Jonny and Paddy's new album, Love You and Hate Bastards - a signed copy of the CD, a badge, and a handwritten card. I've got to get on the computer so I can put the CD into my iTunes and get it on my phone so I can listen to it during Dark Time. Then I can sing along to all the songs when I go and see them again!
This afternoon has been Dark Time. Bit of Financial Times Politics and Quota's Full, then back downstairs to have another quick chat with the floofs, make a small coffee, and do some more knitting. I suspect the timetable for at least the next four days will be the same.
The 27th of October.
I am not in a constant state of irritation today, so that is a plus.
I watched Sunday Brunch, despite there being no one of interest on there (I love Anton du Beke but I don't care that much about his novel), and did a bit of knitting. We were having our main meal at lunchtime today, so I had to amuse myself with The Addams Family movie until that was ready. Mmm venison casserole. Yes please.
After food, I said hello to the kittens, one of whom decided to greet me with a dreadful fart, so I left them to that and went upstairs for Dark Time. Today: Gossipmongers, then Ed and Matthew. I think I did a bit of sleeping in Gossipmongers, which isn't all that surprising considering how snoozy I felt after lunch. So full of warm deliciousness. Made myself wake up for Ed and Matthew because I do actually mind if I miss bits of that because I'm asleep.
When they were done, I turned on the iMac in order to rip Jonny and Paddy's CD, which took longer than I would like because the computer didn't want to recognise the keyboard, so I had to restart it, then iTunes took forever to open. I got the CD into my library, and by the time that was done, I'd been sat there for forty minutes so I shut it down, ready for the next time I turn it on, at which point it will need loads of updates. Joy!
Back downstairs, I found Daddy in the living room watching the second Addams Family film, so I watched the rest of that with him. Joan Cusack in one of her best roles. Now, Harry Potter time! Yes, I live by what is on the television. I'm sorry.
