The 4th & 5th; My jumper is complete!
The 4th of February.
We've decided I'm not going to do gabapentin tonight - this is the week I am doing the sleep diary before the sleep study, and if I end up dozing all afternoon again because of a drug reaction, it's not really an accurate representation of what my normal pattern is like. The study is Thursday night, so after that I will try it again.
This morning, I did a blog post, and some practising of circular knitting. I've tried it a couple of times unsuccessfully, but this time it's going quite well, I think because I've used the biggest needles and done loads of stitches so it isn't stretched. I need to be able to do it if I want to make the trouser pattern I've got.
This afternoon, I have been to the dentist and hygienist. Liam is back, so I had to update him on the past six months, then he had a look at my mouth. He's very pleased with my oral hygiene, as is Sandra, I just need to be better at cleaning the back right corner of my mouth.
Now my jumper pieces are ironed, I'm finally putting the pieces together. Exciting.
The 5th of February.
My jumper is complete!
This morning, I sat and sewed up all the remaining seams, and that took me up until lunchtime. After we'd eaten, Becky came round to update us on her naughty baby. Everyone had been under the impression that it was breech, and that she was going to have to have a caesarean. However, it seems now that it has either secretly turned, or was never breech, and just has a head that feels like a bum. Either way, no caesarean. So it is back to the waiting game for her! Time to watch all the films she recorded at Christmas and make dinners to freeze so they can eat them in the future when there is no time to cook.
For the rest of the afternoon, I tidied up the ends that needed to be weaved in, and tried on the jumper. It actually fits a lot better than I expected, so thankfully I don't need to try to amend the pattern in any way. Tomorrow: dog practise.
